About Vocatron
Vocatron is an AI voice RSVP coordinator built for event organizers who would rather speak than click. Tell your assistant what you need — Alex is the default voice, but there are nine to choose from.
The Problem We Solve
Event management software is built around dashboards, forms, and manual data entry. Most organizers spend hours copying guest lists, sending individual messages, and chasing RSVPs — before the event has even started.
Vocatron replaces that entire workflow with one thing: a voice conversation. You describe your event, your guests, and what you need. Alex, our AI assistant, coordinates everything in the background.
How It Works
Every interaction with Vocatron happens through voice. There are no forms to fill out, no dashboards to navigate, and no apps to install. Everything runs in your browser.
The Economics
Traditional event management software costs $200 to $500 per month for a fraction of the functionality. Vocatron is $29.95 for 300 minutes — roughly 10 full-length voice sessions with Alex, valid for a full year. Most events need far fewer.
The Technology
Vocatron uses a three-layer architecture:
Voice transport: LiveKit WebRTC connects your browser directly to our AI agent. No phone numbers, no SIM cards, no per-minute telecom costs.
AI pipeline: OpenAI's gpt-4o-mini-transcribe for speech recognition, gpt-4o-mini for conversation, and gpt-4o-mini-tts for voice synthesis. Approximately 700-900ms end-to-end latency.
Semantic memory: Every voice call writes structured facts to a pgvector database. The next time you (or a guest) calls in, Alex already knows what was discussed. RSVP coordinators who use Vocatron repeatedly find Alex gets noticeably smarter about their events over time.
